Yes. Unzip the liner from the shell before washing. Wash both pieces separately on a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat to restore the DWR coating on the shell, and lay the liner flat or tumble dry on low to maintain the fleece loft.
The shell is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. The DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating repels light to moderate rain, sleet and wind effectively. For prolonged heavy downpours, we recommend an additional waterproof layer or reapplying a DWR spray after several washes.
The liner zips into the shell via a compatible interior zip track — the same two-way YKK system used on the outer jacket. Alignment is straightforward and takes about 30 seconds once you've done it the first time. No buttons or snaps are needed.
